Macy Hill Farm

Went here for July 4th weekend with 2 families and had an amazing time. We planned to do activities, but the house and pool were so lovely, we never really left. The kitchen was well-stocked (there was an entire coffee bar); the beds were comfortable; there were outdoor games, beach towels, and so many floats for the pool that everyone had one. The fire pit was perfectly located to watch a sunset. And the owners were extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Our group of nine had a wonderful time at this beautiful house full of amenities!! First, the house is huge and maze-like which made it an adventure for everyone to find which bedroom they would claim. The furnishings were cozy (with lots of fluffy blankets) and the beds were super comfortable! The game room on the third floor was lovely with a pool table and space to play board games. We enjoyed the pool with the many floats and games provided - they thought of everything you might need! Including a large selection of pool towels. Around the pool, there were a number of comfortable seating areas, plus a nice large table for outdoor dining. The kitchen was ultra-organized and had all the pots, pans, and utensils you could ever think about needing. There was even a crock pot and an instant pot! A nice surprise was s'mores supplies for us to use, which we did - over the fire pit in the yard. We were able to enjoy the sunset over a farm field and watch the fireflies as we cooked s'mores. It was beautiful. We found some fun things to do that were close to the house. We went strawberry picking only about 2 miles from the house. Silver Beach in St. Joseph was about 30 minutes away, but worth the drive if only to get pizza at Silver Beach Pizza! Plus, there is a huge fountain for kids to play in and a carousel near the beach. We also went to Warren Dunes to climb the big dune and go to the beach. That was also about 30 minutes away. It was always nice to come back to the house at the end of the day. We liked that we were out in the country, but still close to a lot of fun activities. It felt like home very quickly because of all the amenities. We were grateful for all the thought the owners put into trying to make the stay easy and comfortable.
